WATCH: Bulldogs bull-rushed as LSU rolls 41-14 in SEC opener

Mississippi State battled on the gridiron but ultimately dropped their first game of the season against LSU by a score of 41-14 on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium.

The Tigers scored the first 24 points of the game before MSU was able to strike late in the second quarter on a nine-yard rushing touchdown by Lideatrick Griffin. The Bulldogs were held to 201 yards of total offense on the day, while the Bayou Bengals rolled up over 530 yards of total offense-367 of it through the air.

Mississippi State will travel to South Carolina for its first road game of the season on Saturday, September 23rd. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM CT from Williams-Brice Stadium. The game will be televised by SEC Network.
