A white-hot Ole Miss offense through 3 games was held in check from the opening kickoff. The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide came up with fourth-down stops and took advantage in order to win 42-21 at Bryant-Denny Stadium and hand the #12 Rebels their first loss of the season.

Matt Corral completed 22 -30 passes for 213 yards with a touchdown on the ground and through the air to Chase Rogers, who had a team-high 53 yards on three catches. Henry Parrish Jr. led the way on the ground with 47 yards on 11 carries. Snoop Conner also added a touchdown run.

Defensively, Otis Reese led the Rebels with a career-high 11 tackles, followed by Chance Campbell’s career-high 10 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss. Keidron Smith came away with the team’s only turnover, recording a second-half interception. Along with totaling 291 yards of total offense, the Rebels finished 5-for-14 on third down and 2-for-5 on fourth down. Both played a role early on as Alabama got out to a fast start and didn’t look back.
