WATCH: WOO PIG SWEEPY: #1 ARKANSAS SWEEPS #2 MISS STATE, BROOMS DOGS FOR 2ND TIME IN 3 SEASONS

It was another crooked number that did in the No. 2 Mississippi State baseball program on Sunday (March 28), as No. 1 Arkansas claimed the series finale, 6-4, at Dudy Noble Field.

A 5-run fourth inning provided enough offense for the Razorbacks (19-3, 5-1 SEC), but the Diamond Dawgs (17-7, 2-4 SEC) made it interesting with 2 runs in the 4th and 6th innings. A single run in the 6th for Arkansas accounted for the final tally. This was the first time Mississippi State was swept in an SEC series since 2019 when the Bulldogs were broomed by, you guessed it-at Arkansas. The two teams did not meet last season thanks to the cancellation of the season due to COVID-19.

Mississippi State head baseball coach Chris Lemonis met with the media to discuss the series, his message to the Bulldogs after the tough weekend, and much more. Video is courtesy of the SEC.
