On Episode 4 of Season 5, we chatted with legendary Mississippi high school football coach Bobby Hall.

Hall coached for over 40 years, mostly in the high school ranks here in the Magnolia State. His coaching resume includes two stints at Amory, with a run at Louisville sandwiched in between. Then it was on to Wayne County, Madison Central, Biloxi and Northeast Community College. Hall even had the unique opportunity to coach his son, Will, again when the two were reunited with the Tupelo Fire Ants indoor professional football team.

Hall’s legacy on the field is impressive, having won four state championships, finishing runner-up twice and reaching the state semifinals a whopping 12 times. He finished his career with a 310-106 mark and was inducted into the Mississippi Association of High School Coaches’ Hall of Fame in 2017.

Now days, Hall enjoys playing golf, working out, and watching his son coach the Southern Miss Golden Eagle football team. The most quotable coach in maybe the history of high school football in the state, and arguably one of the best to ever do it, joined us for this one-on-one you don’t wanna miss.
