On Episode 3 of Season 5, we caught up with Southern Miss Athletics Director Jeremy McClain.
McClain was untangling so many situations and having to make several big decisions only months on the job the last time we sat down with him, the football program was coming off one of the weirdest and most trying times in its history, COVID was finally beginning to fade enough for college athletics to resume hopeful discussions, and the words NIL and transfer portal were just starting to become very real in our everyday conversations.
Since that time, momentum has continued to build throughout Golden Eagle Athletics, from the baseball program being one of the best programs in the country, to the men’s basketball program returning to some of its former glory, USM under McClain has thrived and is only continuing its wave of momentum.
