Season 4 of “Audibles with Jason Scarborough” continued this past weekend, with episode 4 that aired on TV stations all across the Magnolia State. Episode 4 featured former Southern Miss QB great Reggie Collier.
Born in Biloxi, raised in D’Iberville, Collier played high school football for legendary high school football coach Buddy Singleton.
Collier then went on to Southern Miss to start at quarterback for 3 seasons, racking up the accolades, which included the following: defeating Alabama in Bear Bryant’s last season in Tuscaloosa and snapping the Tide’s 57-game winning streak, becoming the first QB in NCAA Division 1 football to pass for over 1,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards, and so many more you’ll hear in this one-on-one with one of the greatest to ever do it here in Mississippi.
