Despite a dominating night on the glass, the Ole Miss Rebels were victimized by outstanding shooting from the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2nd time in two weeks, falling 71-61 at Stegeman Coliseum Saturday.
Ole Miss outrebounded Georgia 40-30, with a 23-10 mark on the offensive glass, but shot 36 percent from the floor. The Rebels forced 19 turnovers, their highest total in SEC play, but were unable to prevent Georgia from another hot scoring outing, shooting 55 percent (26-47) from the floor with nine 3-pointers (50 percent)
Offensively, Jarkel Joiner led the Rebels in scoring for the 2nd time in three games with 14 points followed by 11 points from Devontae Shuler, both finishing 4 of 14.
